The TED Conference partnered with TELUS to create a set-top-box portal for TELUS Optik TV customers to browse and view TED Talks right in their living rooms.

At LVL Studio, I worked on translating TED.com’s information architecture to work in a TV context, allowing users to browse quickly with a remote control, either by topics, speakers, popularity or other criteria, in a sleek, minimalist design that adapted the TED branding to the Optik TV experience.

Later, the TED organization licensed the design to Samsung, who used it to create the TED Talks Smart TV app that comes bundled with new Samsung LCD television sets.
